She seems to portray many of the emotions seen in your Haiti panting, but with less color variety and less obvious symbolism than that one. Is this is a series of paintings or am I just off base?

There is a province in Ecuador called Esmeraldas, very rich in terms of nature, but with thousands of faces like this one. That's why I called her Esmeralda (Emerald). This is part of the painting also called WHY.
I am afraid that Haiti is fading away from our minds and hearts, so I was manipulating the painting, looking for the closest color to portrait hunger, chaos, and this is the result of that search...
I wish I could do something with this particular painting to try to save some lives there... just dreaming...
